Full Stack Human
You're working harder than ever.
And it's probably not paying off the way you thought.
77% of workers say AI added to their workload. Not reduced it. If you're productive but exhausted, focused but scattered, building faster but feeling less, you're not broken. The system around you changed, and nobody taught you how to adapt.
What the data says
higher burnout rate among heavy AI users. They're twice as likely to quit.
Upwork 2025Teams messages per day, plus 117 emails. Growing 15% every year.
Microsoft 2025of Gen Z report feeling overwhelmed on a weekly basis.
PwC 2025of waking hours spent mind-wandering, which predicts unhappiness. Before AI made it worse.
Killingsworth & Gilbert, Science 2010Berkeley researchers call this "Burnout 2.0." Workers voluntarily expand their own scope, blur their own boundaries, increase their multitasking. Nobody mandates it. The tool is always available, so expectations ratchet up, and humans run faster. An 8-month ethnography from HBR confirmed the pattern: AI doesn't replace work, it intensifies it.
You've tried things. They didn't stick.
Maybe you downloaded Calm or Headspace. Most people stop within 30 days. Maybe you did a digital detox weekend, felt great, then plugged back in Monday and nothing had changed. Maybe your company offered a wellness program, and you went to the yoga class, and it was fine, and then you went back to 153 Teams messages.
A University of Illinois study (n=4,834) found that standard workplace wellness programs had no significant effect on clinical health measures. These interventions were designed for a world that no longer exists. Mindfulness apps can't address structural changes in how work works. Weekend retreats can't undo what happens Monday through Friday.
Two gaps
is between what you want to do and what you can do. AI is closing this one fast. Build apps without code, draft reports in minutes, research almost anything instantly. Genuinely useful.
is between what you think you want and what actually makes you feel whole. Twenty years of Harvard research on affective forecasting says people are consistently wrong about what will make them happy. They get the direction right but overestimate intensity and duration. AI accelerates this cycle: want something, get it instantly, realize it wasn't the thing, want the next thing. The hedonic treadmill at machine speed.
Developers are coining terms like "agent psychosis" for the manic build loop where AI lets you ship constantly but nothing feels meaningful. Armin Ronacher (creator of Flask) described building tools he never used. Simon Willison called the existential version "Deep Blue," watching AI complete years of his roadmap in minutes.
Who this is for
For Individuals
You use AI tools daily. You're probably more productive than you've ever been. But something feels off in a way you can't quite name, and weekends don't fix it.
You don't need more tools or another productivity system. What you might need is to remember what it feels like to be in your body, to think a thought that's actually yours, to talk to someone without a screen between you. These sound simple. They're not, because the environment you're in is designed to pull you away from all of them, constantly.
For Organizations
Your AI rollout is probably going fine on the technical side. The human side is where it stalls. Morale drops, burnout climbs, your best people start quietly looking for exits.
We work on the human side, backed by 300+ research sources across meta-analyses, RCTs, and systematic reviews.
How it works
Built on the SAMHSA 8 Dimensions of Wellness, a framework from the US federal agency for behavioral health. The assessment instrument has been validated across 3,500+ people (alpha=0.97). We map all eight dimensions first, then go deep on five where the evidence for teachable skills is strongest. We use published effect sizes, validated instruments, and we measure before and after.
Calm
Nervous system regulation and attention training. Your stress response never turns off. Cyclic sighing, the primary practice, outperformed meditation for daily mood improvement in a Stanford RCT (Balban 2023). Five minutes a day, measurable results. Evidence base: g=0.54-0.72 across 91 randomized trials.
Move
Movement as medicine, not fitness goals. Twenty minutes changes your brain chemistry for the rest of the day. Most of us sort of forgot we have a body. This module is about getting back into it.
SMD=1.05 for quality of life in office workers.Connect
Loneliness interventions based on cognitive reframing, not "just go socialize." People consistently underestimate how much others appreciate hearing from them (Boothby et al. 2018). The research on what actually reduces loneliness is clearer than you'd expect. 280 studies, effect sizes ranging g=0.43-0.79.
Create
Divergent thinking and protecting your ability to generate original ideas. AI can optimize and iterate, but generating something genuinely new requires a human brain. Creativity training works: g=0.53 across the meta-analytic evidence.
Burnout
40 minutes. Figure out your burnout subtype using Montero-Marin's validated BCSQ-12, get matched to specific interventions, set up an early warning system so you catch it before it catches you. Longitudinal studies point to sleep disruption as the earliest reliable warning signal.
Every participant takes validated clinical instruments before and after: PHQ-9, GAD-7, Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, BCSQ-12, GSE-6AI. All effect sizes are published.
See where you stand
10 minutes, all 8 dimensions. You get a star chart of your results and a personalized practice guide based on your scores. Free, no paywall. The same assessment our workshop participants take.
